Consultations on Continuing Professional Development for Lawyers and Paralegals

The Law Society of Upper Canada is interested in hearing from the profession on the issue of mandatory continuing professional development. A recent report to Convocation proposes that all practising lawyers and paralegals be required to obtain 12 hours of professional development annually. Consultations with the profession will be taking place from now until January 15th, 2010.

This free teleseminar will provide a brief synopsis of the proposal and invite participants to ask questions and provide input on the potential program, with the input forming a part of the consultation process. Join us to learn more and have the opportunity to comment.
